- My family vacationed at Mt. Airy Lodge several times a year from 1969 to 1989, and then a few times until the early 90's. In 2005 I was on vacation near Bushkill Falls and decided to ride over. I knew it had closed, and read about the auction, but wasn't quite prepared for the demolition... :*(

I find the jingle so relaxing and full of memories from my youth in the 70's. I remember staying home sick from school, watching the morning tv shows in my pajamas and seeing that commercial and hearing that song!!! I sent away for the catalogue when I was in College in 1980 only to find that I could not afford it. Have you drivin by lately? I hear that the golf course is opening again.
